It is with immense sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Fatena Elias on Friday, September 15, 2023 in Jacksonville, Florida surrounded by her loving family.
Fatena was born on May 8th, 1959 in Ramallah, Palestine to the Late Jeries Khouri and Mariam Al-Mashni and emigrated to the US in 1978 and resided in Jacksonville throughout. She was an active member of the Promise Land Baptist Church.
Fatena had a kind and gentle soul with a heart of gold. She was ready to help her friends and family whenever needed and was a devoted mother and grandmother to her daughters and grandson.
She is preceded in death by Zuhair Khouri (deceased brother) and is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer (Jason France) Elias and Julie (Michael) Norfleet as well as siblings Suhail Khouri, Farha Dehmes, Linda Azraq, Ilham Rantisi, Violet Salameh and one grandson, Dylan Miller along with many relatives including cousins, nieces and nephews and close friends.
We will miss Fatena dearly. She will be forever loved and remembered. May she rest in peace and may her memory be eternal.
Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at Promise Land Baptist Church, 10343 Normandy Blvd Jacksonville, Florida 32221. Visitation will begin at 2:00pm with Mass at 3:00pm followed by Burial Ceremony at 4:00pm.
