In the words of Winston Churchill, “We make a living by what we get; we make a life by what we give”. By that measure, Felton made quite a life. A man of modest means, he never failed to give willingly. Husband and father, two difficult jobs at times, pure joy at others, I admire the way he navigated life during the time that I knew him. I will remember a generous family man, quick to smile and tough as nails. He has earned his rest and freedom from illness. Go with God, Felton.

What a remarkable accolade to a remarkable and wonderful man. I am a second cousin to who I called Uncle Felton. I will always remember his quiet and gentle nature! We always had alot of great family celebration at Granny’s house! Those are great memories that I will always cherish! I can only imagine how happy he was to see Jesus and Aunt Yvonne again and all the other relatives who are in Heaven! What a great celebration that was! Thinking and praying for you all! Felton was actually my oldest cousin on my mother’s side of the family. I will remember Felton for the smile on his face. I remember the good times we had at my grandparents in Hoboken, Georgia playing with David, Douglas, and Sandy. Since Felton was the oldest grandchild my sister Rene remembers Felton when he was younger. My twin brother, John and I played with his children. I was an adult before I ever went to Felton’s and Yvonne’s home but I remember him showing us around his home and the big picture of the piano with the woman and man that my mother gave him when she remolded our living room. I always thought the man favored Felton. I remember the last time we visited Felton, he told us stories of how it was growing up and the Grey Hound bus would stop and let people go to the bathroom in the woods.
