Gertrude King (Rhodes) Passed away November 16th 2021 after a long battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her loving Husband of 68 years Donald Paul King Sr, and her only son Donald P King Jr., and daughter Linda Sue Armendariz & Grandson Richard Allen King, and siblings Mary Taylor, Lillian Rose, Betty Tope, and Ralph Rhodes, Clifford Rhodes and Parents Albert & Gladys Rhodes

Gertrude was a wonderful and devoted Wife, Mother & Maw Maw, always giving everything she had to her family. She will be missed so much but we know she’s at peace and back in the arms of her one true love.

My Mom was the most strongest woman I have ever known. She stayed strong through years of loss. She lost her only Son Donald then a grandson Richard that she raised then my beautiful sister Linda then in October she lost my Dad. Battling cancer for 5 years, she fought very hard to the very end. I will miss her so much, life just isn’t the same without her and my Dad. I know they are all at peace with the Lord and having a wonderful reunion in Heaven.
