Glen Rufus Stone, age 71 went home to be with his Lord and Savior after a lengthy illness on Wednesday, October 14 at his home in Jacksonville, Florida with his loving wife and daughter at his side.
Glen was born in Jacksonville Florida on January 24, 1950 and is survived by his wife, Sharon Stone, his daughter Wendy Stone Page, her husband Ryan Page, and Glen’s grandson, Matthew Page.
Glen graduated from Paxon High School in 1968 and served in the United States Coast Guard from 1968 to 1972. He was retired from IBM. His passion for football and his love for the FSU Seminoles was a source of enjoyment for him and his family throughout his life.
Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life ceremony and luncheon on Tuesday, October 19th at 11 am at the Ordway family home located at 317 Stonehurst Parkway, Saint Augustine Florida. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Glen’s name to the FSU Foundation at https://foundation.fsu.edu/
