Gordon was born June 8, 1948, in Thomasville, Georgia and passed December 16, 2023, in Clay Hill, Florida.
Gordon graduated from Paxon High School, class of 1966. Upon graduation he worked for the Jacksonville Shipyards and retired from Moody International after 20 years of service. Following his retirement, he enjoyed going out to breakfast every morning, riding his Harley and working around his property. Gordon was an avid Dale Earnhardt/NASCAR fan and loved attending local stock car races. He enjoyed building go kart engines and sponsored a successful go kart racing team.
Gordon is predeceased by his parents, Jewel and Millard Altman. He is survived by his sister, Montine Hall, niece Renee Todd, nephew Greg Hall, lifelong friend and neighbor, Pete Kellum, as well as a host of friends that will miss him dearly.
A memorial service is being planned for January 2024. Details will be announced when they become available.
