Heather Nicole McGehee Sheppard, of Jacksonville, FL, left this world too early at the age of 43. Born December 4, 1979, in Gadsden, AL
She was an avid nature and animal lover. She loved butterflies, dolphins and spending time at the beach collecting shark’s teeth and pretty shells. She was a very dedicated small business owner of Cleaning Crusaders and loved her work.
Heather was preceded in death by her father James Mark McGehee. She leaves behind her mother Brenda {Swindall} McGehee. She also leaves behind her three beloved children, Samantha McGehee, Mikayla Sheppard and Christian Sheppard.
She leaves behind her sister, Tammy (Greg) Sikes and their four children, her stepmom Gina McGehee, and her bonus mom Phyllis Johnson, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends.
Services are being held Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Fraser Funeral Home 8168 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32221.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a memorial donation be made to a charity that you would love to support in her honor.

Heather was a beautiful soul. She was caring, funny & hard working. I personally will miss her hugs, but also the way that her face lit up when she spoke about her kids. The world needs more people like Heather to brighten up the darkness of humanity. Jesus took his angel back because she wasnt being treated the way she should have been. I was going to send flowers, but instead will be donating to a local shelter that provides refuge & resources to battered women & their children. I only wish someone had been able to help Heather escape from the Monster that stole her Life away from all the people who loved her. Rest Peacefully beautiful flower.
