Howard Mitchell Miller, age 75, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022. Howard was born in Lakeland, Florida on February 23, 1947 to the parents of of Perley Gordon Miller and Paulina Hough Miller.
Howard was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints and was the world’s greatest handyman. He could fix anything and had a love and passion for old cars. He always saw the good in anyone he came in contact with.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Perley and Pauline Miller.
Howard is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 38 years, Virginia M. Miller whom he married on February 1, 1983. Although he had no children of his own, Howard was a great loving father to Virginia’s 6 children; Karen Tierney, Lynn Parkin, Brian Rhoades, Scott Rhoades, Kelly Holbrooks and Kathy Lyell. He also is survived by 5 siblings.
He had a love for his family. it was the most important thing to him.
Graveside services will be held, Monday, June 27, 2022 at 11:00AM in Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. The family will receive friends at Fraser Funeral Home, 8168 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32221 on Sunday, June 26, 2022 from 3:00 – 5:00pm.

Mark and I are very saddened to hear of Howard’s passing. I remember hiking Baldface Mt with Howard in the summer of 1982 here in Maine. He was always a sweet , kind man and I felt blessed to have gotten to know my cousin. May he Rest In Peace and sending prayers to his family. Holly Hatch Strange

Love my brother Howard so so much, he will forever be in our hearts. He will sorely be missed. He can see now. He is survived by 3 sisters, Susan Pauline Miller Nickles,Elizabeth Anne Perry Brown and Patricia Diana Miller Himes and 1brother Gordon Wayne Miller. His older brother Richard Frank Perry has passed away.
