Iris Rosemary Skinner, age 82, of Keystone Heights died Saturday, March 23, 2024.

Iris was born July 6, 1941, in London, England, the daughter of John Walker and Rosina Violet (Shepherd) Allen.

She moved to Jacksonville, Florida from England on February 24, 1975, and was employed as a Register Nurse for many years.

Iris was predeceased by her father, John Walker Allen, mother, Rosina Violet Shepherd, her husband, Ivan Skinner, a son, Stephen Skinner, and her sweet dog, Rosie.

She is survived by one son, David Skinner (Beth), one sister, Chrissy Burridge (Dave), four grandchildren, Tommy Skinner (Lindsay), Sharon McKittrick (Chris), Amber Bublitz (Vincent) and Dustin Thomas along with four great-grandchildren, Bristol & Brooks Skinner, Peyton & Colt Bublitz, Jackson Thomas and Chason McKittrick.

A funeral service for Iris will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 30, 2024, with visitation for friends and family 1 hour prior at Fraser Funeral Home, 8168 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL with Dr. Gene Patch officiating.
Burial will be in Mandarin Cemetery immediately following the service.
