Janice Gill (Sissy), age 76, of Middleburg, FL, went home to sit beside her creator on Feb 6, 2023. She was preceded in death by her father James W Keel, Step Father Donald Hart (Ruby Hart), her brothers Michael Hart (Emily Hart), Wayne Hart (Debra Hart), Roger Hart, and her sister Irma Jean Crews (William Crews) Her two children, Russell Echols, and Tonya Echols Felder (Rodney Felder), her grandson Jayme Echols, and several nieces and nephews.
Sissy as family members called her was formerly employed with Kinco Windows and Doors for many years, and she took great pride in her work. She had an amazing work ethic, and she was always willing to lend a helping hand where a hand was needed. She loved frequenting local thrift shops and secondhand stores to hunt for great deals on all sorts of things that would reflect her amazing personality. She could be loud and somewhat opinionated, but she always maintained her sense of humor and true sense of family in all things. She adored the holiday season, and loved spending time with her family above all else. She greatly looked forward to decorating the tree every year, and she would assemble the largest stockings which she would then fill to the brim with lots of goodies and treats for everyone that she held dear to her heart. Most of all she loved to bake cookies and sweets, and would often build special trays for each person that she gifted them to. Janice Gill (sissy) was a beautiful daughter, sister, Aunt a wonderful momma, an amazing grandmother (Memaw), a friend who a friend would love to have. She will greatly be missed by all the people who were always surrounded by her love and her light.
