Jerry Dean Dixon Cataldo (age 95) was born in Hazlehurst, Georgia on November 9, 1927. She was a former resident of Williamsburg, Virginia and currently lived in Fleming Island, Florida. She passed away on March 11, 2023.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Jacobs, her son, James Bernard Jacobs, Jr. and his wife, Sharon; grandchildren, Bubba Morrell (Terri), Shelly Jacobs Shires (Bill), James Bernard Jacobs, III (Sheena), Jared Elias Jacobs (Kelly), Justin Ward Jacobs (Jessie), Clint Ferguson and Bradley Ferguson; several great grandchildren and niece, Brenda Lundy Gill (Mark).
Jerry worked in the computer department of the United States Army, U.S. Transportation Center at Fort Eustis, Virginia. After a long-dedicated service, she retired on May 25, 1988.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband, Francesco (Frank) Angelo Cataldo. They were married for 47 years. She was also preceded in death by her father, Jerry E. Dixon, her mother, Irene Estelle Nelms Thomas, brother, Willis Patrick Dixon, sister, Martha Dixon Lundy.
She will be laid to rest beside her beloved Frank at Williamsburg Memorial Park, Inc., Williamsburg, Virginia.
