Joseph B. Jackson, 74 years old passed away on July 18, 2020. Son of Clarence Leon Jackson, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Rozar Jackson of Woodbine, Georgia. Joe was a Vietnam Veterans, a member of the Methodist Faith, Georgia State College graduate, served as DeKalb City police officer and lived in Atlanta area for some years. he was married twice. Later years he returned to his hometown of Woodbine and worked at Port in Brunswick. Joe is survived by his brother, Clarence ‘Bo’ Jackson (Ruthie) of Jacksonville, Georgia and many nieces and nephews. Joe is preceded in death by his daughter Laura, sisters, Georgia (Bill) Tabb, Jeanette (Howard) Tyson, Lynda Sue (Dale) Dotson and brother, William Jackson. Joe will be laid to rest in Jacksonville National Cemetery with Military Honors.
