I was so blessed to have known Ms. Kaye she was the person who always stood by me when we Greeted at Rise Church and when she wasn’t there I felt her presence missing because she was the first person who really took me under her wing when I first started greeting at that time I was in a wheelchair and was having issues dealing with that concept at the time I would always tell her I had the best mentor that taught me the ropes. She was so good at her communications and interactions with people and she loved her friends and Pastors at Rise Church. Me and Kaye would talk outside of Church and she loved her whole family she never once said she would change anything. I’m sending my prayers and condolences to the entire family. I thank you for allowing me to be apart of your family and enjoy her friendship I do know you had a Godly Mother and she is in heaven with Frank dancing the night away. Where there is no more pain or suffering. I pray God will be with you all during this time and comfort your heart and soul.

Memories….Wow, so many! Being first at the cafeteria for lunch. Hours and hours on the phone. Raising our kids as “cousins,” making us honorary “Aunts”. Endless card playing. Giving her driving lessons. A weekend at her “Time share” with Vickie, her sister. Egg salad sandwiches. Sharing “Jesus” experiences. 50+ years of “memories”. We used to laugh and say whichever one went to Heaven first, would save a place for the other. Guess you won. Kaye Bird, I will miss you forever.
