Mrs Elie Tilus Born Mathe Verdier graced the earth of her presence at Laroche-au-Pont in Haiti on March 8th, 1951. She now resides in heaven since July 22nd, 2020 and was welcome by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. She passed after bravely fighting with Cancer in Jacksonville, FL.
She was a faithful servant of God, a devoted wife, a great mother, a cherish Grand Mother, a fantastic adoptive mother, a talented teacher, and a hard worker.
Wonderful memories of Mathe Tilus-Verdier shall be treasured by her children: Marthe Edline Tilus, Anne Judeline Tilus, Rose Eveline Tilus, Pierre Eddy Tilus; Marthe Valerie Tilus Vil, Marthe Roseline Déyé; her grandchildren: Jovan and Neely St Victor, Vylie and Noah Vil, Evaëlle Saint-Louis; her sons-in-law: Hosner Vil and André Saint Louis; her daughter-in-law: Marie Joelle Charles; her nephews Pierre Robert and Enock Elisé; her niece: Nozette Elisé; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Emmanuel Joseph Tilus, Paul Etienne Tillus, Marie Isabel Joseph, Wilfrid Tilus, Wilnor Tilus and Samson Tilus; Marie Cleonie Pierre and their families.
Mathe Tilus-Verdier was preceded in death by her husband Pastor Elie Tilus, Her parents Pastor Genera Verdier and Agila Mathurin, her brothers Elino Elisé and Ernest Verdier.
Her life was touched by the Master’s hand and she, in turn, touched the lives of so many others. We find comfort in knowing that her love and legacy will forever live in their hearts.
