Matthew “Matt” Christopher Roth, age 48, joined the Lord on April 9, 2024. Matt was born in Jacksonville, Florida to the parents of Michael and Gloria Roth on June 22, 1975. Matt is a native of Marietta and was a talented and well sought out after carpenter. He was a man of nature, bringing home many bucks, and he was also the family comedian.
Matt sought and received salvation in 2001, believing and following Christ.
Matt was preceded in death by his granny, parents and sweet son, Josiah. He is survived by his wife, Michelle Roth, his children, Jacob, Miriam, Tristen and Annalee. He is also survived by his brother, John Roth (Carol), a nephew, Joshua and nieces, Rachel and Lauren Roth.
A celebration of Matt’s life will be held, Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 1:00pm in West Park Baptist Church, 372 Jones Road, Jacksonville, Fl 32220 with Rev. Charlie Rhodaback officiating.

Matt Roth and I go way back to our teenage years. I must say we had a very rocky road in our younger years. He just wanted his older brother John Roth’s attention and well so did I..!!! We were young and we really made some silly choices but we did secretly always care about one another. We grew up and though we did not stay in touch, i do know that Matt grew to be a wonderful, dependable, loyal, God loving, amazing father and amazing husband, a great friend and a dear family member always willing to give his love and support when needed. He truly was a man that anyone would be proud to say that he is their friend. This news of his sudden death has deeply sadden me. He was there when my sister Nissa passed away, to honor her life and say good bye, show his love and support for my family in such a devastating time in mine and my family’s life. Even with Matt’s sons passing and him going thru his own grief stricken times, he was there to offer his support and love in my famlies time of grief, because he was just a good man/ person. I will always hold a special place in my heart for Matts friendship. Matt will be greatly missed and mourned by many. My condolences for his wife and children and to his brother John and Sister in law Carol and his nieces and nephews. I am very grief stricken, to know that such a phenomenal man as Matt Roth has been taken so soon. He is now in the hands of Jesus. We will miss you Matt Roth. Until we meet again
