Michael Floyd Peek, age 68, passed away on April 10, 2021 at Haven Hospice in Orange Park, FL. Michael was born January 5, 1953 in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Robert and Nancy Peek. Michael loved wood working, reading the bible, spending time with his grandchildren and watching old western movies. He was preceded in death by his step-mother, Mildred Peek, a brother; Anthony Peek and his step-brother, Kenneth Gill and his wife Debbie, and a brother-in-law Edgar Bennett. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Peek, a son, Jacob Peek of Jacksonville, FL and a daughter, Melissa Peek of Jacksonville, FL, a brother, Claude Peek of Jacksonville, FL, a sister, Cindy Gill (Presley) of Aiken, SC, and his step sisters; Patsy Witherspoon (Michael), of Wilmington, NC, Jeannette Bennett, Hoboken, GA, Jaqueline Evans (Arnold) of Jacksonville, FL and Margaret Hall (Melvin) of Jacksonville, Fl and his two grandchildren, Kaeleigh Holton and Anthony Peek. Graveside services will be held, Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 2:00pm in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 800 Hammond Blvd., Jacksonville, Fl 32221 with Rev. Johnny Moore officiating. The family will receive friends at Fraser Funeral Home, 8168 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, Fl 32221 from 10:00 am – 12:00pm on Saturday, April 17, 2021.
