Scott and I are so sorry for your loss. Marian sent the notice of Michael ‘s passing. We will hold on to our memories from younger days that we spent together. Our sympathy to you, Rose, and Steven.

Teaching kindergarten with Mr. K was a joy. We all have fond memories of him and wonderful sense of humor. He touched so many young lives and will be missed by all who knew him.

Hi Rose. This is Mary Kay that taught kindergarten with Mike at CSE. Julie Beasley just told me about his passing. My husband just died one month ago, I can relate. My prayers are with you and Stephen. Mike made teaching at that school bearable. He always brought humor and fun to our grade level. We all were often on the verge of getting in trouble because we would push the envelope and he would be right in the middle of it ????. The kids loved him. To them he was Mr. K, but to us he was Special K. I wrote a poem for him when he left teaching. We all have very fond memories of him!
