Richard (Ricky) Wayne Edenfield passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at the age of 65 after a short illness. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida, on September 27, 1956 to parents Bobby and Juanita Edenfield.
Ricky was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Edenfield, mother Juanita Dickerson Edenfield, maternal grandparents Clyde and Eloise Dickerson, and older brother Donnie Edenfield. He is survived by his daughter Amanda Rollins, grandchildren Rylan Walker, Cade Ledbetter, Corbin Rollins, and Reese Rollins, younger brother David Edenfield, and sisters Misty Youngblood, Wanda Boykin, and Pam King. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Ricky lived in Jacksonville, Florida for most of his life. He loved and cherished his daughter and grandchildren. Growing up, he enjoyed spending time with his grandparents and family at the Maxville Farm. He loved listening to old Southern rock music. Ricky was especially grateful to his Uncle Toby Dickerson for his love and support over the years, along with his aunts Linda Gail and Mary Lou, and his cousin Michelle for their loving care they provided in his final days.
Funeral services for Ricky will be held on Monday, September 19, 2022 at Fraser Funeral Home, 8168 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32221. The viewing will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. The graveside burial will follow soon after at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
