Bob moved to Jacksonville at the age of 14 with his parents to open their photography business, Price Studios, which photographed a number of Jacksonville events and weddings in the 1950’s through the 1970’s. Bob was the owner, along with his wife, Mildred Laverne Price, of Bob Price Motors, Inc. for over fifty years as well as other businesses in Jacksonville. From an

early age, Bob was an avid automobile racer and engine builder, resulting in him being renown through the southeast. Bob was married to Mildred Laverne Price for over 67 years. He had two children, William (Bill) Gregory Price and Thomas Paul Price. Bob was a friend and mentor to many and a very loving and doting grandfather to Gregory Powers Price and Burke Saint Clair Price. He had an unbelievable impact on their lives. He was looking forward to participating in Burke’s wedding on March 25, 2023, to Felix Faerber but, unfortunately, will be there in spirit only. Bob had a positive impact on the lives of many people who visited him over the last ten days including members of Promise Land Baptist Church.
