It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Robert Wayne McComas, who left us on May 5, 2024. He was 75 years old. Robert, as he was fondly called by his friends and family, was born on August 27, 1948 to Tom and Francis Ann McComas in Logan, West Virginia. He resided in Jacksonville, Florida and retired from Jax Port as a laborer and he enjoyed watching old westerns and loved the Jaguars.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and his baby brother, Kenneth.
He is survived by his sister, Brenda Smith, a brother, Barry McComas, Sr.. He is also survived by his nephews, David Veith and Barry McComas Jr. and a niece, Lisa Anders.
A celebration of Robert’s life will be held, Monday May 20, 2024 at 4:30pm in West Park Baptist Church, 372 Jones Road, Jacksonville, FL 32220 with Rev, Charlie Rhodaback officiating.
