Samuel Jacob Garza ‘Sam’ , age 52, of Orange Park, died December 6, 2020 at St. Vincent. He was survived by his wife Sheryl Garza.
Sam was born in Houston, Texas June 28, 1968 son of Stella Garza and David Flores. He grew up in Houston, Texas and graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1988.
Sam was survived by his children Shawn Bottoms, Jason Bottoms, Kourtney Kelley, Kendall Garza, and Chandler Garza. His grandchildren Breana Greathouse, Julia Bottoms, Collin Allred, Joshua McCousland, and Isabella Garza. His brothers Don Cornman, and Paul Cornman.
Sam was a lot of things: He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend to many. Sam was a fisherman, a construction guru, an Eagle Scout, a lover of Rock and Roll and spending time with his family and friends. His church. And Faith in God. Sam was quite a storyteller and was full of some of the craziest life experiences one could have and he loved to share them.
Sam was a proud man and was extremely proud of the family he built and surrounded himself with. We will all miss you Sam. May your stories live on through your family and friends forever. We love you.

My condolences to Jacob’s family. I know he will watch over you with God’s grace. I was a friend of his in high school and always appreciated his friendship and sense of humor.
