It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Mae Stallings Ely of Jacksonville, Florida, born in Surrency, Geogia, who passed away on March 19th, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, John Henry and Emma Thornton Stallings, her Husband Gary Lee Ely. She is survived by her son, Ronald Ely of Jacksonville, Fl, her grandson, Kyle Ely of Palm Coast, Fl, her siblings, Curtis’s “Bubba” Stallings (Linda) of Baxley and Harry “Billy” Stallings (Vivian) of Alma. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 23rd, 2022, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Fraser Funeral Home (8168 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, Fl 32221). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 24th, 2022, at 1:00pm at the same location. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
