Our beloved Steven Brown departed this life on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, in Jacksonville, Florida. He was 65 years old. Steven was born in Youngstown, Ohio on May 21, 1957, a son of the late Thomas Jefferson Brown and Mary Etta Gilliam. He was educated in Youngstown Public Schools and graduated from Honolulu Community College and Jacksonville State College at Jacksonville. Steven united in marriage to Deborah R. Lee, and this 41-year union was blessed with two children. Steven spent four years in the United States Air Force. He worked ten years as a Welder at Newport News Shipbuilding in VA and ten years as a Navy Welder at Pearl Harbor in HI. Steve was a twenty-year employee of the City of Jacksonville as a Supervisor in the Public Works Department. He is survived by two daughters, Dr. Brittany Brown and Brooke Brown, Waldorf, MD. Seven siblings, Paulette and Gerald Jones, Camille Rollins, Jacksonville FL, Diedra Reeves, VA, Thomas Brown, Donald, Rodney, Clyde Bills, OH. Nieces/Nephews, Felisha and Victor Murray and Yvonne and Ricky Hagler, Jacksonville, FL.
