On Tuesday, March 23, 2021, we lost our son William Christopher Brian Riens unexpectedly from a brain aneurysm. He will be missed by many; he was loved by many. He had such a tender heart and loved his family deeply. He is survived by his daughter, Aubrie Sublett, parents, Christopher and April Riens, brother, Scott Lebowitz, sisters, Christina Riens, Mela nie Riens and Kattie Riens, nephews, Eric Robirts, Brayson Bean, Jayson Bean and Carson Elrod, nieces, Isabella Heglund, Emma Heglund, Kylee Robirts and Kimber Lebowitz, brother-in-laws, Eric Robirts and Brandon Elrod, uncles, Chett Brooks, Mike Brooks, Steve Riens, Freddie Riens, Wil Serrano and Andy Coryea, aunts, Margaret McKay, Robin Coryea, Michelle Serrano, Linda Brooks and Kathy Hammond, 25 cousins and 22 second cousins; which he loved like his brothers and sisters. Most of his second cousins called him Uncle Brian which he loved so much. He is preceded in death by his grandparent’s. Lester Sr. and Estelle Brooks, William Jr. and Betty Riens, uncle, Lester “Eugene” Brooks, Jr., and cousin, Michael Brooks Jr. The family will receive friends and family Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm in the chapel of Fraser Funeral Home, 8168 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville FL 32221. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 28, 2021 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Fraser Funeral Home, internment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, 800 Hammond Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida 32221. The family would like to invite you back to The Riens Home, 917 Stokes St., Jacksonville, Florida 32221 after the graveside for dinner and gathering in memory of our awesome Brian.
