Zaralee O’Steen Perry, age 91, passed away July 28, 2022. Zaralee was born in Starke, Florida on September 12, 1930 to the parents of Orie Edward and Janie O’Steen.
She was a house wife and a great mom, grandmother and great grandmother. She liked to sew for us when we were growing up. She also loved giving her time to help others. She still continued to cook for herself in her 90’s. She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, fishing, camping, quilting, making dolls and just having fun.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson Tom, Jr.
She is survived by her sons; Paul Perry, Jr (Kay) and Joey Perry (Valerie); her daughters, Joannie Googe (Terry) and Jeannie Brennan (Billy), sister, Patsy Mosley; her grandchildren, Paula, Josh, Jacob, James, Kenneth, Holly, Regina, Sarah and Samantha and her great grandchildren, Abby, Scott, Tommy, Gracie, Rosalee, Caleigh, Hunter, Jake, Camilla and Ava.
Funeral services will be held, Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 11:00am in the chapel of Fraser Funeral Home, 8168 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32221 followed by interment in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 800 Hammond Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32221. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 6:00-8:00pm.
