Abbie Gale Junior, 80, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026.
Recently, she had relocated to Jacksonville, Florida where she lived with her sister, Natalie Henderson. Abbie was a devoted wife, mother, and sister, and her presence will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her father Matthew Ewing, Sr., her mother Willa Mae Ewing, and her husband of 39 years, Willie J. Junior.
Abbie worked for many years as a registered nurse. Alongside her husband, she co-owned and operated Junior Funeral Home. In her later years she served as a loving at-home caregiver.
Abbie is survived by her daughter, Nyasha Junior, of Toronto, Canada; her five brothers and five sisters; and a host of family.

Graveside services will be held, Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 2:00pm in Barrancas National Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Road, Pensacola, FL 32508 (this Cemetery is located on the Pensacola Naval Air Station Base. A Military ID or Visitors Pass is required to get on Base)
