Anne Denmark, 87, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away peacefully at home October 15th, 2025, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Anne was surrounded by her children, a friend, and some neighbors.
Anne was originally born in Tifton, Georgia on April 30th, 1938, and since childhood has resided in Jacksonville, Florida.
Anne was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Stephen "Russell" Denmark; her mother Melba "Grace" Manalo; father Felipe "Mike" Manalo; sister Laura "Maria" Smith; brothers, John "Johnny" Manalo and Richard L. Manalo; and a granddaughter, Linda M Barton.
She is survived by three children: Carl C. Barton Jr., Catherine Stuart, and John D Barton; five grandchildren, Michael J Barton, Laura A. Stuart, Heather D. Stuart, Dolores “Lil Bit" Nolan, and Amy L Barton; fifteen great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren as well as many first cousins and others.
Anne retired after many years with Olan Mills Studio then Bryn Alan Studio
Anne is remembered by so many people she had touched: family, close friends, neighbors, coworkers, and strangers, and through First Baptist Church of Jacksonville for many years. Anne was involved with helping in Sunday School class until she could no longer do it.
Fly high beautiful in those beautiful angel wings that you have earned many times over, you are forever loved.
