On February 22, 1985 in Miami, Florida our Heavenly Father blessed the lives of Marva Lewis and Jimmy Lee Smith with a precious angel known to family and friends as Javis A. Jones. Jarvis attended North Country Elementary School and graduated from high school in Texas in 2003.
Jarvis “Jay” as he was fondly acknowledged by many. Jarvis obtained employment as an Automotive General Service Tech. He later joined the United States Army, where gracefully he served his Country as a 92A and later as a 42A, in which he gracefully touched the lives of many people.
On April 26th, 2026, at 12:03 PM in Jacksonville, Florida, Jesus beckoned our beloved Jarvis and said, “come unto me my precious son” and he made the ultimate act of obedience and journeyed to his Heavenly Home, joining those whom traveled before him including his mother and father.
Jarvis, always devoted to his family and friends leaves a legacy of precious memories with his wife, Clarissa Jones and children Jarvis Anthony Jones Jr, and Eric Ayala, brother Jimmy D.
