Patricia Gail "Patty" (Langford) Carr, 66, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2026, surrounded by her children. Born on February 24, 1960, in Jasper, Florida, Patricia lived a life devoted to her family and filled with love and cherished memories.

Patricia was the eldest daughter of Betty Williams and the late Wilmer Langford. She grew up alongside her siblings Timothy Langford (Taylor), Beth Ellsworth (Rich), Amy Sapanero-Bazanes (Joe), and her late brother David Langford in Florida.

In her early years, Patricia met and married the love of her life, Thomas B. Carr. Together they shared 47 wonderful years of marriage before his passing. Their union was blessed with four children: Dana M. Carr, Thomas R. Carr, Jonathan D. (Renee) Carr, and Jacob B. (Kristina) Carr. Patricia’s greatest joy came from being a mother and later a grandmother to 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Patricia found immense happiness in spending time with her family, whether it was gathering for special occasions or simply enjoying each other’s company. She also had a passion for reading, which provided her with moments of quiet reflection amidst her busy life as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, and sister.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Thomas B. Carr; her father Wilmer Langford; her stepfather C.L. Williams; and her brother David Langford.

Patricia’s legacy is one of unwavering love and dedication to those she held dear. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

May Patricia's memory bring comfort to those who loved her deeply.

Services will be announced at a later date.

There's not enough space for my memories of my daughter. We did so many things together , road trips, we made a tutu for her one year for Halloween. I cherished everything we did together or shared. My daughter will be missed. I love you, Patty.
