Ralph W. Fredrick, 74, passed away on February 16, 2026, in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born on February 15, 1952, in Phelps, Wisconsin.
Ralph proudly served his country in the United States Navy as an AMSC for more than 20 years. His time in the Navy was one of his greatest honors, and he carried the values of dedication, strength, and integrity with him throughout his life. After retiring from military service, Ralph continued his hardworking career at the shipyard as a mechanic and later worked in security for many years. He was a man who believed in providing for his family and took great pride in an honest day’s work.
In his golden years, Ralph made his home in Macclenny, Florida with his beloved wife of 52 years, Roberta, and their loyal dog, Sam.
Ralph was a NASCAR fan and loved college football season, supporting the Wisconsin Badgers whenever they took the field.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph F. Fredrick and Joyce Elaine Langenohl Fredrick, and his sister, Cathy Fries.
Ralph leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory: his devoted wife, Roberta Fredrick; his daughter, Angie Andrews (Nathan); his son, Ralph Fredrick (Stephanie); his brother, Steve Fredrick (Mary); his sisters, Barb Dombeck, Sandy Hollencamp, Debbie Atkinson (Tom), and Amy Oglesby (Jermey); his sister-in-law, Lorraine Alligood; his brothers-in-law, Bobby Howe, Hubert Howe, Clifford Howe, and Bobby Greer; and his treasured grandchildren, Shelby Servis, David Fredrick, Cassie Deogracia (Keith), Nate Andrews (Ivy), Ethan Fredrick, and Jade Fredrick. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews.
Ralph will be remembered as a devoted husband, proud father and grandfather, loyal brother, faithful friend, and proud veteran. Though he may be gone from our sight, he will forever remain in our hearts.
