Raymond Alexander David, lovingly known as “Ray,” was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, Florida. He spent his career working as a drywall man. Ray enjoyed working on race cars and watching NASCAR, two hobbies that brought him much happiness throughout his life.
Ray was one of 12 children. He is survived by his son, Dustin David; sister, Juanita Taylor; four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Joshua David; his daughter, Amy David; and his parents, Nora I. David and John L. David.
After battling COPD and lung cancer, Ray passed away on October 27, 2026.
He will be remembered and deeply missed.
