In Loving Memory of Sudeow Ganesh
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Sudeow Ganesh, who departed this life on August 24, 2025, at the age of 86. Born in Guyana on June 3, 1939, and a longtime resident of Canada, Sudeow lived a remarkable life defined by hard work, deep family bonds, and quiet strength.
Sudeow was a dedicated and loving husband to Gloria Ganesh, with whom he shared over 40 years of marriage. Their enduring partnership was built on love, mutual respect, and unwavering support—a bond that served as the foundation of their family.
He was the proud father of five: Paul Ganesh,Jack Ganesh ,Rob Ganesh , Mike Ganesh, and Neigel Ganesh. He was a loving grandfather to fourteen and a great-grandfather to eight. As the devoted patriarch of his family, his love and guidance left a lasting imprint on the lives of those closest to him. Nothing brought him more joy than time spent surrounded by his grandchildren, who were the very heart of his world.
Sudeow’s journey was one of resilience and transformation. He began his life as a farmer in Guyana, later moved to Toronto, Canada, where he worked as a skilled construction worker, and eventually became a successful restaurant owner in Jacksonville, Florida. Renowned for his culinary skill, Sudeow was admired as one of the finest dough masters—his creations were not only delicious, but also infused with tradition and love.
In his spare time, Sudeow found joy in outdoor projects and gardening. Whether building, planting, or simply enjoying nature, he approached life with creativity, patience, and care.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and unwavering devotion—a legacy built on years of sacrifice, perseverance, and generosity. As he now joins his beloved wife, Gloria, in eternal peace, we take comfort in knowing they are reunited once more.
Sudeow Ganesh will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved him. Please join us in celebrating his life. Services will be held on Friday 29th at 5pm.
